Usage

You can download the latest release here.

If you're on macOS, you can also use Homebrew Cask to download the app by running these commands:

$ brew cask update
$ brew cask install hyperterm

Contribute

  1. Install platform specific build dependencies as detailed below
  2. Fork this repository to your own GitHub account and then clone it to your local device
  3. Install the dependencies: npm install
  4. Build the code and watch for changes: npm run dev
  5. In a new tab, start the application: npm start

If you want to build the binaries for all specified platforms, run the command:

$ npm run pack

After that, you'll see the binaries in the ./dist folder!

Required Build Dependencies

To Build on OSX:

For Linux:

$ brew install gnu-tar libicns graphicsmagick xz

For Windows:

$ brew install wine --without-x11
$ brew install mono

To Build on Linux:

For Linux:

$ sudo apt-get install --no-install-recommends -y icnsutils graphicsmagick xz-utils

For Windows:

  • Install Wine (1.8+ is required):
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa -y
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install --no-install-recommends -y wine1.8
  • Install Mono (4.2+ is required):
sudo apt-key adv --keyserver hkp://keyserver.ubuntu.com:80 --recv-keys 3FA7E0328081BFF6A14DA29AA6A19B38D3D831EF
